We have a proven track record of helping young players to improve. If your child is looking to advance their game and would like some additional training provided by coaches that are both qualified in Cricket coaching and have vast experience in teaching and mentoring children, then the AU Cricket Academy is for you.
It is our ethos that each session must be fun, progressive, challenging and engaging. We are passionate about ensuring that children look forward to our sessions and feel we have the perfect blend of the above to make that happen.

Looking for top-quality cricket coaching in a fun, inclusive, and development-focused environment? Our AU Cricket Academy summer sessions are designed to help young players build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy the game—whatever their experience level!
⚡ Session Categories:
🏏 U5-U8 Softball Cricket – A fun introduction to cricket, focusing on basic batting, bowling, and fielding skills in an engaging and relaxed environment. No prior experience needed!
🏏 U8-U11 Softball Cricket – Designed for children with some knowledge of cricket, whether from school, club, or playing in the garden! Sessions cater to both beginners and those looking to refine their skills.
🏏 U8-U11 Hardball Cricket – Perfect for players ready to transition to hardball, with structured coaching on batting technique, bowling accuracy, and fielding intensity. Pads, helmet, gloves, and a box are required.
🏏 U12-U16 Hardball Cricket – Our most advanced sessions, aimed at players with club or school cricket experience who want to take their game to the next level. Expect technical coaching, match scenarios, and tactical decision-making. Full hardball kit required.
💬 Q&A – Everything You Need to Know!
🔹 Does my child need cricket experience?
• Softball (U5-U8 & U8-U11): No, we welcome beginners!
• Hardball (U8-U11 & U12-U16): Some experience is expected, as we focus on more advanced techniques.
🔹 Does my child need an invitation to attend?
No! Anyone from any club or school can join. If you’re unsure whether a session is right for your child, just ask!
🔹 What equipment do we need?
• Softball sessions: No specialist equipment needed, but bringing your own bat is helpful.
• Hardball sessions: Players need pads, helmet, gloves & a box (a thigh guard is optional).
🔹 Do I need to stay and watch?
You’re welcome to stay, but it’s not required. Just complete a consent form when booking, and you’re free to go!
